The King George Gallop is 3 back-to-back handicap races open to non-foiling dinghy classes with PY numbers ranging from the International Topper to the 49er.

Formed in 2018 and named by the late wife of Mo Allen (Chief Organiser), The King George Gallop stepped in at the 11th hour due to low water levels at Queen Mary. For this edition, the race was a 150 minute pursuit race. Since then, it has been its’ own event in the SailJuice Winter Series and is now a 3 race back-to-back format.

The first race start is scheduled for 11:00am. Held in the cold of January, it is part of the SailJuice Winter Series.
